Works under the supervision of the Inpatient Services Supervisors and Director of Inpatient Services. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises individual patient care according to unit policies and procedures. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers in the implementation of care plans. May be required to work on other nursing units according to the distribution of staff and patients. Cares for patients from pediatric to geriatric.
EDUCATION: Nursing degree (ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN) from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
Diploma or ADN nurses must complete their BSN within 5 years of their hire date. Starting a BSN completion program within 2 years of hire and maintaining steady progress toward degree completion will demonstrate satisfactory progress.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: License to practice professional nursing in WI. BLS required.
