Position Summary

Works under the supervision of the Community Connect Program Manager and Coach. Role is broken down into three main areas:

1. Epic Application Specialist: Application Specialist duties will be limited to 1-2 applications to allow individual adequate time for other job duties.

2. Project Coordinator: Responsible for coordinating project management functions delegated by the Community Connect Program Manager that are required to effectively manage the Community Connect Program. This could include, but not be limited to, leading meetings focused on overall build of all applications, developing timelines and leading the team through integrated testing; planning Community Connect Super User integration with Monroe Clinic Super Users; planning an annual UGM type event for Community Connect sites; assisting in leading team meetings around completing specific goals defined by the Community Connect Program Manager (i.e. Plan details of Demo for a CC Site).

3. CC Technical Coordinator (Liaison): Responsible for ongoing communication with Community Connect sites after go-live. Responsible for regular check-in meetings with IT/Epic leaders at each site, following up on issues, and identifying potential trends across the CC Sites. Work with Epic Application Specialist to ensure issues are addressed.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: College Degree (AS, Diploma, B.A., B.S. or commensurate experience) in a field of study such as business, IS, or a healthcare related field is preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.

EXPERIENCE: Clinical or business office experience preferred. Background and experience with Epic applications with both strong interest and aptitude for technology is preferred. Microsoft Suite of applications knowledge required. Knowledge of internet, email and operating systems required. Healthcare experience preferred. Understanding of general workflows and processes in acute and ambulatory settings is preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Professional certification/license is desirable, but not required. Recent Epic certification a plus, but are willing to train the right candidate. Epic Certification is required with the first year of employment. Maintain certification.
