Position Summary

The Director of Primary Care is responsible for the overall functions of services provided at Monroe Clinic's Branch facilities and the Primary Care practices in the main clinic.  Departments include Family Medicine, our Residency Program, New Glarus, Albany and Blanchardville. The responsibility includes managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and organizing of the areas. The Director is responsible to ensure that patient care is delivered to meet Monroe Clinics Service Standards, Quality Expectations, Value Metrics, and Financial Performance expectations.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. If a nurse, requires current Wisconsin RN licensure or eligibility for Wisconsin and Illinois RN licensure.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a related healthcare field. Clinic management experience strongly preferred. At least 3 years of management experience preferred. Change management, performance management, people selection & development, process improvement, employee engagement, financial management, and project management experience preferred. Experience with a patient-centered medical home preferred. Experience with patient-centered care preferred. Word, Excel, Power Point experience proficiency. EHR experience/competency (EPIC) preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

License appropriate to clinical training/practice. For nursing, license to practice professional nursing in WI and IL. BLS required. Lean Healthcare Certification preferred.
