  • Summary of Major Responsibilities

    The Corporate Security Operations Center (SOC) Partner works under the direction of the Corporate Security Manager and Serves as the primary business hours point-of-contact for the 24/7/365 Exact Sciences Corporate Security Operations Center (SOC), which is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of Exact Sciences’ employees, guests, and facilities.

    The Corporate Security Operations Center Partner is integral to ensuring Exact Sciences’ team members are properly served by the corporate security department in a timely and efficient manner, assigning security or other resources as appropriate, and properly documenting activity and calls for service. Additionally, the position requires excellent attention to detail, as the partner will proactively monitor the department’s enterprise access control/CCTV system for suspicious activity and violation of security policies and procedures.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary business hours point-of-contact for the 24/7/365 Exact Sciences Corporate Security Operations Center (SOC), which is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of Exact Sciences’ employees, guests, and facilities.
    • Facilitate non-emergency and emergency communications utilizing a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system, digital radio system, and other modes of communication.
    • Dispatch calls for service of reported incidents to security partners, emergency services (911), and other internal departments following proper policies and procedures.
    • Continually monitor data and live CCTV feeds utilizing S2 Security, and dispatch security partners to investigate alarms, suspicious activity, and violations of company or departmental policies.
    • Utilize a variety of corporate security tools and resources to detect, analyze and alert stakeholders regarding any adverse conditions to the corporation and its employees and assets, such as extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, or technical failures.
    • Monitor the travel plans of employees to ensure their safety and security when traveling on behalf of the company.
    • Properly documents all employee, guest, and security partner-initiated activity and calls for service.
    • Monitor activities of security partners to help ensure efficient departmental operations and officer safety.
    • Maintain a professional demeanor when coordinating with other Exact Sciences’ departments, team members, guests, and outside agencies.
    • Initiate event/incident notifications and advisories and disseminates to authorized internal stakeholders and serves as the point-of-contact for stakeholders requesting additional information.
    • Assist with access control requests, terminations, and changes when received, and initiates remote access requests for employees when specific circumstances warrant.
    • Assist with audits and updates of all Corporate Security hardware and software, ensuring the integrity of systems while maintaining confidentiality of company data in compliance with applicable laws, policies, procedures, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Compiling daily reports and incident reports.
    • Ability to multi-task duties and maintain a calm, professional demeanor while working under stressful situations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

    • Ability to use computers daily in an interactive manner for extended periods of time and up to 8 hours per day.
    • Ability to travel (by land and air), both domestically and internationally, on occasion.
    • Ability to frequently and accurately communicate with employees, customers, and vendors in person, via the telephone or by email.
    • Constant walking or motion to coordinate work and interact with co-workers.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and up to 6 hours at a time.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
    • 2+ years of experience in a security or public safety dispatch environment.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
    • Possession of a valid driver's license, no more than two moving violations in the past 36 months, and no unresolved license revocation or suspension issues.
    • Maintenance of sufficient driver’s insurance to satisfy any applicable state or local requirements and at least $250,000 per person and $500,000 per accident in coverage.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication skills and record-keeping duties relative to corporate security and public safety applications.
    • Excellent customer service skills in a private or public safety dispatch environment.
    • Work independently with little oversight and direction.
    • Experience in the utilization of standard security or public safety dispatch systems, including digital radio systems.
    • Thorough knowledge of computer-aided-dispatch (CAD) operations, as well as records management systems (RMS).
    • Experience in the utilization and operation of CCTV and access control systems.
    • Ability to build strong relationships across departments and Exact Sciences teams.
    • Strong customer service skills and the willingness to engage employees.
    • Demonstrated computer proficiency within the Windows environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities by prioritizing daily tasks and operational demands and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Some college-level coursework preferred.
