Jobing Description
The WEA Trust (the Trust) is looking for a Worker's Compensation Recovery Representative to enforce policies-, worker-s compensation provisions, monitor a participant-s claim for and pursuit of worker-s compensation benefits to a satisfactory resolution, and recover erroneous claims payments in order to protect the Trust's liability for medical expense and income replacement benefits in cases involving work-related injuries or illnesses.
Skills / Requirements
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
Thorough knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, as well as procedure and diagnostic codes. Experience analyzing medical records, diagnoses and/or symptoms, and treatment plans to determine eligibility for coverage under an insurance plan. Ability to effectively and persuasively communicate with individuals, pose substantive questions, listen, explain decisions and policy provisions, and respond appropriately to difficult callers. Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems accurately.
