Employment Term: Regular Employment Type: Full Time Hours per Week: 40 Work Hours (i.e. shift): 1st Shift Start Date: ASAP Starting Salary Range: $35,000-$38,000/Yr Required Education: Open Required Experience: 2 to 20+ years Related Categories: Electronics, Customer Service - General, Customer Service - Call Center Position Description Customer Service Representative-Technical This position is responsible for supporting and supplying customers and service companies with answers to questions and/or problems pertaining to all product lines. Candidates must be available for scheduling between the hours of 7 AM - 7 PM. Responsibilities: •Receive incoming phone calls from customers, service companies, installers, designers, contractors, dealers, and distributors •Answer questions and/or solve problems for incoming callers concerning the product •Coordinate with supervisors, regional managers, authorized service dealers and distributors to effectively resolve issues/problems •Document all customer information and related service action for future reference •Effectively communicate with customers who are concerned with product performance •Provide timely response to letters, voicemail, and email messages to resolve any problems/questions related to the product •Answer product specification questions related to pre and post installation issues •Travel may be required to work with services in the field •Aware of legal ramifications that may occur •Use negotiation skills to resolve out-of-warranty issues •Other duties as assigned to fulfill departmental needs Experience and Knowledge Required: •High school diploma or equivalent •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Knowledge of customer service policies, procedures, and philosophy •Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment •Strong listening and negotiating skills •Ability to read and troubleshoot wiring diagrams, electronic controls, technical manuals, etc. •Technical knowledge of refrigeration and gas cooking appliances •Ability to handle stress, prioritize workload and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced contact center •Technical and/or appliance service experience is preferred •Computer literacy •The ability to multi-task; type and speak at simultaneously Call Becky Turnquist at Argus 608 442-6487.
