The Trust isn't just a great name for an insurance company -- it's an ideal. Since 1970, Wisconsin public school employees and their families have come to count on the Trust for insurance and financial services. Created by the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC), the Trust offers members an alternative to commercial products.

Our organization
Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, the Trust is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building financial security for Wisconsin's public school employees. A Board of Trustees - all public school employees - oversees Trust operations and serves without financial compensation. As educators, they understand the needs of public school employees, and are able to use that knowledge to ensure that Trust members get high quality and great value in insurance and financial services.

Members of the Trust have one important thing in common - they are associated with Wisconsin public schools. They are either employees or family members of Wisconsin public school employees.

Insurance
The Trust offers group health, dental, life, long term disability, short term disability, and long term care insurance plans. These group plans are available to members through bargaining between their local union and their employer. We also offer insurance products that individuals can purchase directly. These include auto, homeowners, renters, personal property, personal liability, and individual long term care insurance policies.

Retirement investments
The Trust's tax-sheltered annuity (TSA) program is a unique way to invest pre-tax dollars using a Guaranteed Investment and selected mutual funds. The Trust also offers the WEAC IRA featuring both traditional and Roth IRAs at an exceptional guaranteed interest rate.
