Job: Training Manager

THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS OF THIS JOB ARE:
• Implement comprehensive training programs for hourly and management employees which will provide 1) a sound understanding of our corporate culture, philosophy and values; 2) an opportunity to develop skills essential to job performance; 3) continuing professional growth and development for all employees.
• Oversee Company Training and support the curriculum which addresses the ongoing needs of the organization and individual employees
• Assist in the integration and on-going philosophies, standards, policies/procedures and techniques as they relate to strategic planning for company.
• Facilitate in-house hourly and management training programs.
• Monitor and assist in divisional and departmental training efforts.
• Monitor and access current and future training needs company wide, divisional and departmental.
• Implement and support methods for evaluating and measuring training effectiveness.
• Monitor post-training accountability.
• Serve as an ombudsman. Follow-up on issues which arise in training classes.
• Create and manage the training budget
• Build and maintain training resource library.
• Oversee the maintenance of all training administration.
• Represent the training function at company meetings.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: College degree in Human Resources Management preferred.

LICENSE/PERMITS REQUIRED: Valid driver’s license.

REQUIRED SKILLS: ability to maintain own office to include typing, filing, computers, and fax.

KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE: Microsoft Office for Windows

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3-5 years in the training field; resort industry experience preferred.
